How we work
- Single-visit batchSend us your list (5 to 15 items) and we’ll quote it as a 2- to 4-hour visit and knock all of it out in one trip.
- Stud-finder & sonarWe use both a Franklin pro stud finder and a dial-type sonar to confirm every anchor point before drilling.
- Right anchor for the wallStuds for anything heavy, snap-toggles for medium loads, drywall anchors only for picture-frame weight.
- Level, torque, testEvery install leveled within 1mm, screws torqued (not over-driven), then we hang/pull on it to make sure.
- Clean up & recyclePackaging out, sawdust vacuumed, donation-piles loaded if you have them.
Typical pricing
What this work usually runs.
Most install visits are billed by the trip (2- or 4-hour block), not per item. Bring us a list and we’ll fit as much as we can into the block.
Up to 65″. Articulating arm and cable concealment at the upper end. 75″+ jobs quoted separately.
Per shelf-run, 6′ or shorter. Floating shelves and reinforced French cleats at the higher end.
Bathroom safety: tub, toilet, shower. Mounted to studs or with heavy-duty blind anchors. Includes ADA-height check.
Multi-item visits often save money — a 4-hour block ($385) usually covers 6–10 items. Send your list and we’ll quote the visit, not the items.
Install FAQ
The questions homeowners actually ask.
Will it hold? My drywall is… old.
Anything over 20 lb goes into a stud. If we can’t hit a stud where you want it, we’ll either suggest moving the install 2″ left or use a heavy-duty blind anchor rated for 4x the load. We’ll never use a plastic drywall anchor on anything that matters.
Brick or concrete walls (chimney, basement)?
Yes — we use Tapcon screws into pre-drilled brick or concrete. Bring a photo so we can confirm we’ll have the right bits and anchors before we arrive.
Can you mount a TV over a fireplace?
If the surround above the fireplace is masonry and not too hot in active use, yes. We bring an infrared thermometer to confirm temps below 120°F during a typical fire. We’ll recommend against it if your hearth gets above 140°F under normal use.
Will you assemble furniture I already bought?
Yes — bring on the IKEA. Most flat-pack pieces take 30–90 minutes. We can typically assemble 3–5 pieces in a 2-hour block. Anchor straps to the wall included on anything tippable.
Smart lock install?
Yes — including Schlage Encode, Yale Assure, August Smart Lock, and Level Bolt. We pair to your home Wi-Fi and the app, set the first user code, and walk you through adding family before we leave.
Aging-in-place — what’s in scope?
Grab bars, raised toilet seats and comfort-height toilet swaps, lever-handle door hardware, threshold ramps, hand-held shower wands, and motion-sensor night lighting. We’ll do an in-home walk-through and prioritize by risk if you’re prepping for a return from the hospital.
